One of the most common themes couple adapt on their pre-wedding shoot is fairy tale. Carrie and Matt’s engagement session was inspired by Cinderella. It was actually a remarkable theme, great enough for the couple to keep looking back at. Traditionally, couples plan two or more themes for their photoshoot, thus requiring them several outfits, looks and setups. For our featured couple, they concentrated on one theme, which is actually a very good idea, so planning won’t be too requiring since they were focused on one concept.
Let’s go on with the details of the shoot! Carrie was wearing a light blue long dress as inspired by her fairy-tale inspiration, Cinderella. The V-neckline and gathered sleeve details flattered her figure so well, she was indeed princess-like. For her groom, a white crisp button-down and a pair of red pants were his fashion armor, looking like a real knight in shining armor. Of course, the shoot wouldn’t be complete without the famous glass slippers and a few Cinderella-themed props. A theme like this needs a regal backdrop and Vizacaya Museum and Garden was the perfect place to be, no exorbitant styling needed. We quote this description about them saying “Not only was this theme adorable but it also was a beautiful reflection of their incredible love story. Every once in a while in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale.”
