Giving Back the Love

Bethany and Philip are quite familiar with serving and helping others, since they are both in the Army. For fun, Bethany and Philip joined a contest for a free styled engagement session. They turned out to be the lucky winners of a “Gives Back” themed shoot, featuring vendors who help local communities and global charities. Bethany wore beautiful necklaces and earrings from Three Strands 412, which donates 10% of profits to various local ministries in McDonough, Georgia. Meanwhile, Philip sported ties made by Lion’s Thread, a nonprofit that employs Ugandan women. The decor included handmade pottery from bvPottery which supports BeLoved Atlanta, a transition home for women coming out of the human-trafficking industry.

Vintage was the order of the day, with details like hardbound books, a candlelit picnic, clay pottery, leather suitcases, an old bicycle, and a handmade quilt. A classic 1950s car added a nostalgic touch. Bethany posed in four white and lavender dresses, ranging from relaxed to flirty. That Art Deco inspired short dress is a winner! Philip’s outfits included casual jeans, a button down shirt and a dark tailored suit. Bethany and Philip first got engaged on the summit of Stone Mountain after a long climb, and it was clearly a treat to relive that romantic moment while dressed to the nines. Here’s to a lovely couple, Lady Luck, and looking good while doing good.
